I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with the United Way of East Central Alabama on their LIVE UNITED campaign. The most recent in a series of commercials/PSAs that we produced is a ‘thank you’ for everyone who helped give, advocate, and volunteer. I had a lot of fun working on this project and am extremely grateful to the United Way for letting me be a part of the project.

I usually leave the still photography to Mandy. This weekend, however, Mandy has a prior engagement and I will be doing the still PHOTOgraphy for a wedding in Golden Springs Alabama. I love photography. It was actually a passion of mine before videography. So I’m very excited to have the opportunity to shoot this weekend. Its just like video… only still… right?

We were honored to be asked to shoot Ashley Knight and Arnold Hughey’s wedding at The Villages in beautiful sunny Florida. Ashley was a bridesmaid in Marc & Misty Skinner’s wedding back in July. Since Misty is going to be in Ashley’s wedding, Mandy and I asked if Marc and Misty would want to all ride together to the wedding. It’s going to be an unforgettable trip!

Ashley is the daughter of Ray Knight (former Major League Baseball All Star) and Nancy Lopez Knight (4-time LPGA player of the year). If you’re planning on playing some golf at the Nancy Lopez Legacy Country Club golf course in The Villages, I’m pretty sure Nancy would be able to give you some pointers.

We have not had the chance to meet Arnold yet, but rumor has it, he’s a stud baseball player.

It sounds like the entire weekend is going to be breathtaking and we can’t wait to capture it so Ashley and Arnold can relive it for years and years to come.
